Parrish United Methodist Church

Project Scope:
Formella Construction acted as the general contractor for this project located in Parrish, FL. This project consisted of constructing a 3,700 square foot building to be used as a classroom for the church including: Masonry wall construction with stucco, wood roof trusses, and a shingled roof system; Demolition of the existing building for tie-in as well as connecting new services to existing while keeping the existing facility operational; Site work for on-site retention, new water service and backflow, small sewer lift station to tie into revised septic and drain field.

Formella Construction provided a tax recovery system to save the church sales tax on large ticket items while insuring that these owner-purchased materials still retained their warranties. The project was completed utilizing an “Open Book – Subcontractors Bidding” process, which was acceptable with the United Methodist organization.
